Metal roofing

Steel roofing panel for houses, camps, barns, and shops. We keep it in stock, run it on our own roll former, and cut it to the length you need.

Cut to your length

This is the part that saves you a trip and a wait.

We run our own roll former in the shop on N. Service Road. That means you tell us the length you need and we make it, instead of you buying stock lengths and cutting them on site.

Give us the run of your roof and we will figure the panel. If you would rather bring your measurements to the counter and talk it through, that works too.

  • Panel run to your measurements
  • Formed here, not ordered in
  • Odd lengths are no problem

The finish on the panel

What keeps the color looking right after a few south Louisiana summers.

Our steel roofing can be finished with Valspar WeatherX, a two-coat silicone polyester paint system built for houses, farm buildings, and industrial work.

In plain terms: it is made to hold its color and its shine instead of chalking and fading, and it is tough enough to take the handling that happens between our shop and your roof without scuffing or cracking.

Valspar and WeatherX are trademarks of their owner.

Colors

Fifteen colors, all cut to your length.

Colors on a screen are never exactly the color on your roof. Monitors and phones all show them a little differently. Come by the shop and look at the real chips before you decide, or call and tell us what you are matching.

Not sure which one?

Tell us what you are putting it on and what is already there. We do this every day and we will steer you right.

Call about colors

On a real roof

A square of color and a whole roof in the sun are two different things. Here is what a few of them look like once they are up.

Panel profiles

Both cover 36 inches of roof off a 38 inch sheet. Drawn to scale.

Low Profile

Major ribs every 9 inches, three quarters of an inch tall, with two small stiffening ribs between each pair. The flatter of the two, common on houses and camps.

36” coverage 9" 38” 0.75"

R Panel

Major ribs every 12 inches, an inch and a quarter tall, with two small stiffening ribs 4 inches apart between each pair. The stiffer of the two, common on shops, barns, and buildings.

36” coverage 12" 4” 38” 1.25"

Not sure which one you need? Tell us what it is going on and we will tell you what most people use for that.

What goes with it

A roof is more than panel. We stock the rest of it too.

Trim and custom flashing

Ridge and hip cap, gable, eave and gutter, downspout, wall apron, valley, and transition. Standard lengths are 10 foot 3, 16 foot 3, and 20 foot 3. Odd flashing we bend to suit.

Accessories

Screws, sealant, and closures. The small stuff that decides whether a roof leaks in five years.
